From fatherhood support groups to youth mentoring workshops and emotional intelligence training, our events provide the tools, connections, and encouragement participants need to thrive.

Signature Workshops

Fathers Haven Healing Circle

A peer-led support group where fathers share challenges, celebrate victories, and learn parenting strategies. Sessions include:

Emotional intelligence exercises
Co-parenting communication skills
Strategies for building stronger family bonds

Who Should Attend: Fathers of all ages, male caregivers, and father figures.

Dynamic Dad Doula & Maternal Health EQ Workshop

This unique service trains fathers to play an active role in maternal health and childbirth. Topics include:

Labor and delivery support techniques
Nutrition and wellness for expectant mothers
Emotional support during postpartum recovery

Impact: Fathers who attend report stronger partner relationships and deeper bonds with their newborns.

EmpowerU Youth Leadership Series

A series of sessions for young men ages 11–21 that cover:

Leadership skills and public speaking
Emotional intelligence for teens
Career and education planning
Service projects that give back to the community

Who Should Attend: Middle school, high school, and college-aged young men looking to develop leadership skills.

Imhotep Rights to Passage & STEM Academy

A 12-week rites of passage service rooted in African-centered traditions, combined with hands-on STEM learning. Topics include:

Identity and heritage
Critical thinking and problem-solving
Science, technology, reading, and math enrichment

Outcome: Graduates gain a stronger sense of identity and readiness for higher education or the workforce.

Community Events

In addition to structured workshops, UI4SF hosts annual and seasonal events designed to bring families and communities together.

Annual Family Day

A celebration of growth and unity featuring games, food, live performances, and recognition of participant achievements.

Employee Readiness Fair

Partnering with local employers, this event connects participants to career opportunities, resume-building sessions, and interview coaching.

Favorite Fathers Day

Safe spaces for dialogue on community challenges, reconciliation, and collective problem-solving. These circles promote unity and reduce neighborhood tensions.
